Journaling can be an incredibly helpful tool during this process of personal growth. It can also help you to process through thought and ideas!
If you’re anything like me, you may have kept a journal (diary) in the past – full of this person doesn’t like me, I really like this person, and so on. This is a little different, but some of that may still come through depending on what’s going on in your life.
When journalling, try to allow the words to come to do; suspend judgement – especially for yourself and your thoughts.
Give yourself some time each day or each week to sit with a question or two regarding something that’s going on in your life.
If you feel blank, write the question on the page and start writing. If you’re really stuck, start by writing: “If I did know…” or “This could possibly be/mean…” or “I am willing to see this differently and if I did see this differently that might be…”
